The Recruiting & Engagement Coordinator is responsible for building and supporting a strong, high-quality team of Care Professionals who reflect the values of Home Instead. This role focuses on creating a positive and supportive environment where caregivers feel valued, encouraged, and set up for success. Through thoughtful recruiting, engaging training, and ongoing development, the Coordinator helps ensure our Care Professionals are confident, well-prepared, and aligned with delivering exceptional care. A key part of this role is fostering strong relationships, promoting a positive team culture, and continuously supporting staff in providing compassionate, high-quality care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct interviews for Care Professional candidates, assessing skills, experience, and alignment with our Home Instead values

Lead new hire training, ensuring Care Professionals feel confident and prepared from day one

Facilitate ongoing education, including leading Alzheimer’s and dementia care training

Plan, organize, and run quarterly Care Professional meetings to promote connection, communication, and team engagement

Manage and maintain online training platforms, ensuring all Care Professionals remain compliant and up to date

Provide ongoing coaching, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to support Care Professional success

Identify skill gaps and coordinate additional training opportunities as needed to strengthen performance and confidence
Secondary Responsibilities

Complete all required training through the online learning platform designated by the franchise office

Participate in company-sponsored training sessions, social events, and Care Professional meetings

Support Office Staff with documentation on Care Professionals and/or clients

Assist with errands and provide incidental transportation for the office, clients and/or Care Professionals

Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
Essential Job Requirements

Ability to learn and effectively use office technology, including online training and development platforms
-
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds as needed
-
Ability to perform physical movements such as bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and reaching

Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
-
Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew, and common cleaning solutions
-
Ability to treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
-
Ability to adapt to a variety of home environments and locations
-
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and professional manner
